We all know and love the Old Spice campaign involving this stud of a black man. They are witty and very Olgilvy-esque. Well, recently I found that the Old Spice's Youtube channel will send out personalized video responses out to Twitter updates. This example I've found is directed @Kmanchester who vowed to name his first born child "Old Spice Manchester." Pretty awesome.. Both the idea and the name.
I think that this is a great disruption idea and has a far greater chance of expanding the success of the campaign. Taking something so popular that extra mile will I'm sure greatly pay off. Well done Wieden + Kennedy.
