This video was ranked the number 4 viral video last Friday. "The Woman You'd Love Your Woman to be Like" is a viral video promoting The Sun Newspaper, executed by the Glue Isobar agency.
Why is it seemingly okay now to blatantly rip off something that was so popular a year or two ago? I really hate the pure shock value approach to advertising. I find it far less effective and far more annoying than anything else out there. Only shows like Saturday Night Live should be parodying ads so popular. It's the most easy out of inventing a creative concept I have ever seen. The product relationship is completely irrelevant as well. Why is a hot chick with coconut knockers filled with beer going to make me want to read the crappy sun times?
Call me a grouch, but this "humorous" tactic isn't doin' it for me.
Obviously, I have strong feelings about this. I'd like to hear if anyone thinks that this is funny.
HAHHAAH THIS IS SO FUNNY. I AM 'ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING'.

i am not.
This is stupid. I can see potential for a funny parody but this was a failed attempt. It does look like a horrible SNL skit with no punchy ending. I was left confused and not entertained. Though it does make me want to look up and see what this page 3 business is all about for the pure fact that I didn't really understand what was being advertised. Dumb.
I agree with ann I too was left confused, and i was writing my blog about unoriginal concepts. First to Morgana they where trying to use sex to sell in a humorous way, which was a complete fail. Secondly I feel like it should be a form of stealing or plagiarizing. Changing the character to a woman and a few lines does not make it original at all. I hope when we are in the real world we will never resort to these tactics.
